Service Description
Orthopaedodontics is a specialized field within dentistry that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic problems in children, particularly those related to jaw, speech, facial growth and development. The goal is to address issues such as underdeveloped jaws, skeletal and facial proportions affecting breathing, function and self esteem at an early age to prevent severe problems later in life. Treatment often involves utilizing fixed orthotropic appliances to guide the growth, expand the arches and align the teeth and jaws. By intervening early, the aim would be to achieve more stable and harmonious dental and facial structures, ultimately improving oral health and function of their young patients.
